The natural need to beautify the face is reflected not only in care, but also in applying make-up. However, its history dates back many years, because makeup has been an important part of culture and religion since the beginning of time. One of the Roman philosophers even claimed that „a woman without makeup is like a dish without salt.” Improving the appearance of the face, highlighting some of its fragments and covering imperfections took place already in ancient Egypt, where black lines were painted around the eyes using antimony or lead ores. Along with the development of color cosmetics, the fashion for covering up the shortcomings of beauty or enhancing its advantages has been gaining and still gaining popularity day by day. Nowadays, the choice of make-up products is huge. They are used not only by women, but also by men.
